Once Upon A Time

Have you ever wanted a fairytale wedding? I mean, like an actual fairytale, bringing to life your favourite story book characters and creating a fantastical celebration straight from your imagination. Well, I have. And to date, I haven’t found anyone else who wants to. So, this was my opportunity to bring it to life. Set amongst the manicured, medievil inspired gardens of Evergreen in Parkwood, this shoot took us on a quirky journey to a faraway land where fairytales were mashed together to create whimsical story book wonder.

Ruby red shoes, reams of emerald green and some gowns fit for a princess combined on this magical photographic journey. Theming included bright gold apples with delicate wooden place cards care of Woodland Press pinned into them, tall centrepieces of wild greenery, gold tiffany chairs with ivy wrapped around them and delicate cut crystal glassware.

Our beautiful bouquet provided by White Ivy Design featured ripe red apples, deep scarlet coloured roses and half open tulips surrounded by greenery. The incredible cake fromDeliciously Decadent was a ruffled three tier in white with a gold bottom layer, and topped with overflowing red apples and green ivy, dodder vine and gold worked in. Everything in this shoot was lavish and the gowns were no exception.

Our models donned the most incredible fairytale princess gowns which were supplied from the lovely ladies over a Grace Bridal Couture in Helensvale. Bodices were detailed with pearls and diamantes and large full skirts boasted rosettes and layers and layers of tulle. The amazing feather and diamante headpieces were also provided by Grace Bridal. Our models creative up-dos in quiffs and curls were perfectly sculpted by Salon Nook and complimented with smokey eyes and ruby red lips. Photography by the talented Amy Neeson.
