On a humid Easter long weekend we had the pleasure of creating a gorgeous eclectic vintage wedding ceremony and reception for Sally and Trent. The wedding was held in Montville, nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland….a truly stunning spot. The wedding ceremony was held at the Russel Family Park and Sally & Trent exchanged their vows in front of our beautiful enchanted wedding arbour. Americana Chairs were adorned with hessian chair bows and mason jar vasesoverflowed with Baby’s Breath and Lisianthus. The ceremony was followed by a relaxed picnic for guests to enjoy. Picnic baskets overflowed with goodies and the lucky guests reclined in the sun or under the shade of tall trees.
The reception was held at Montville Village Hall, and the Sugar & Spice team created a fairy light cocktail lounge next to the formal reception inside the hall. It was a space for guests to relax in, chat, laugh and demolish the lolly buffet. The space was decked out with a range of eclectic vintage couches and arm chairs, wine barrels served as dry bars and stacked suitcases and overturned wooden crates as coffee tables. All the furnishings received the Sugar & Spice treatments with crocheted doilies, pink and purple blooms and soft candlelight. Even the Easter Bunny made an appearance! (All these items available to hire here) The entire area was framed by our open air structure that glittered in the moonlight with 200m of fairy lights. The structure perfectly complimented the furnishings, and the wedding took on a whimsical, almost Alice in Wonderland feel.
