So… we love tea parties. We love vintage bone china and lace and flowers and pastels and prettiness!
For a long time now we have dreamt of doing a high tea wedding, and Cheryl and Brook gave us that opportunity.
The luscious gardens of Evergreen were the perfect setting for this incredible wedding celebration that fused so many pretty details into one fabulous event.
The wedding ceremony was held in front of the sandstone tabernacle, which is an incredible spot to say your vows. White Tiffany chairs, rose petals and a long white carpet lead Cheryl to Brook and a touching ceremony followed. There wasn’t a dry eye in the garden! Afterwards guests were treated to a refreshing drinks buffet and treats including caramel popcorn, pretzels and snacks.
The reception was set under a silk lined marquee with fairylights gleaming overhead, long banquet tables were clad with white linen and lace overlays. White Tiffany chairs were decorated with classic satin bows. Individual vintage china tea cups were positioned at each setting and embellished with butterfly place cards that perched delicately on the cup edge. Centrepieces were grand glass candelabras, and in place of candles miniature tea cups brimmed with pastel blooms. The marquee was filled with the intoxicating scent of pink peonies and roses. Gold charger plates warmed up the colour scheme and book table numbers finished the look.
It rained alot that day, but even the rain couldn’t dampen the beauty that surrounded the gorgeous bride and groom and their amazing guests.
It was an exquisite pleasure to work with these two love birds on their journey to happily ever after, and we wish them nothing but the best for the future.
