The glamourous wedding of Anna and Nima was a joy to create! Held at Polly’s Country Kitchen on the Gold Coast, it is one of the first weddings of 2014 and we are thrilled to kick the year off in such style.
A garden ceremony featuring our enchanted wedding arbour, chaise lounge and white tiffany chairs was nestled among the lychee trees on the property. The afternoon sun beamed soft rays of light through the trees, creating a dreamy atmosphere for these two love birds to say their vows. Pre-Dinner drinks and canapes followed the ceremony, in the gazebo on the property.
A dramatic silk lining transformed the space and guests were treated to a lolly buffet, photo booth and white ottomans to lounge on. As the sun set, guests were invited in to the grand marquee, lined in pristine white silk with soft purple lighting. Tables were inspired by Gatsby Glamour and the Pantone colour of the year Radiant Orchid (read more on this here). White Tiffany chairs were adorned with lavender sashes and diamante buckles. The tables boasted a mix of lavender satin overlays and exquisite silver sequinned table cloths (now available to hire!) Place settings included silver charger plates, white linen napkins and best of all – hang over kits for bonbonniere!
Huge centrepieces towered above the table making an eye catching focal point as guests entered the marquee. Dripping with crystal drops and with stunning feathers bursting from the top, our table chandeliers were surrounded with crystal beaded candle holders reflecting off mirror bases. Suspended over the dance floor and cake table was a crystalchandelier which made a stunning scene for the couple’s first dance.
We loved every minute of creating this wedding and wish the gorgeous couple all the happiness in the world as they start on their journey as husband and wife. You should contact Sugar & Spice Events for your wedding styling.
