Corporate Event Inspiration – Table Layouts

One of the things I relish most about corporate events is the opportunity to be so uniquely creative. There is so much more scope with colours and decor, pushing the design boundaries for seasoned event goers  who have “seen it all”. Even traditional themes like Masquerade or Circus can be reinvented in new and exciting ways, and one of my favourite ways to do this is with table layouts.

I am constantly seeking inspiration from around the world of the latest event trends to bring to the Gold Coast, and have collated some of my favourite table designs below.

Banquet tables have been popular for some time in wedding design, but not so much at corporate events. I love the symmetry of long tables with perfectly aligned centrepieces, dinnerware and napery that stretches on forever. This is also a perfect option for feasting menus which are becoming very popular.

As you can see from some of the below images, long tables don’t need to be in a straight line. The geometric shape from HMR Designs is breathtaking as it snakes in sharp edges, filling the space. Another favourite is the cross formation, with huge statement centrepieces at the meeting point.

Longer tables work well to mirror event spaces of the same shape.

Mixing round and square tables is just as effective and creates interests as soon as your guests enter.

Curved tables add a modern and whimsical edge which means the rest of the decor can be more subdued.
