Troy & Livia

We love old buildings. Sadly they are lacking on the shiny new Gold Coast, but Brisbane has the goods.

That’s why we were so excited to create this beautiful floral-filled wedding at Brisbane City Hall.

With a white & gold colour scheme, we designed a classicly styled wedding reception laden with flowers in white and soft pinks.

Guests walked a white carpet aisle and were greeted with tulips, lillies and vases jutting out of vases on top of white and mirrored pedestals. Tables were overlaid in gold lace and accented with baroque style charger plates and gold cutlery. Centrepieces were tall pedestals with flowers spilling from the top and bottom and floating candles nestled in between. Gold Tiffany Chairs were embellished with dusty pieces sashes tied in a diagonal bow.

The bridal table was a stunning showpiece of the room, swathed in gold sequins with an impressive suspended garden overhead. Lead crystal chandeliers were immersed in greenery and cascading fern, with clusters of roses and dahlias dripping from pretty branches.

We were inspired by David Tutera’s wedding and a beautiful gold and white cake was surrounded by blooms that started at the top and cascaded to the floor, flowing like a floral waterfall of petals and greenery.

What a joy! The room was filled with the sweetest fragrance and the soft romance of hundreds of flickering candles.

We love Brisbane City Hall and we loved working with Troy & Livia to create this memorable wedding experience.

Special thanks to Moss n Stone for the utterly spectacular job done with floristry.
